Capterra found that Canadian consumers were increasinglyinterested in sustainable shopping since the start of the pandemic. With thegrowing enthusiasm for green initiatives and the availability of sustainablesoftware, SMB leaders may wonder how they can adopt anti-waste measures andgreener practices. To study this trend in depth, we surveyed more than 1,000Canadian consumers, including 219 residing in Quebec. You will find thecomplete methodology of this study at the bottom of this article. They answeredquestions about their understanding of the circular economy, theirparticipation and their expectations regarding companies implementing suchpractices. This rather low figure can be explained by the province's promptinvestment in sustainable development . However, the philosophy of reducing,reusing and recycling products is more widely known, with 33% of participantsfamiliar with the concept without knowing the name. 24% of Quebecers surveyedare very familiar with the principles and the term circular economy, comparedto 13% for national participants.
